Data processing and subprocessors

GoChamie operates its own brands as the data controller. We rely on a vetted set of vendors, our subprocessors, to help deliver the service. This page explains how we govern them.

Our role

For the personal data of our members, GoChamie, Inc. is the controller. Our subprocessors act as processors, handling personal data only on our documented instructions and only for the purposes we authorize.

Categories of subprocessors

We work with subprocessors across a defined set of categories, including cloud hosting and infrastructure, payments, identity and age verification, communications and messaging delivery, analytics, and trust-and-safety tooling.

Subprocessor governance

We assess each subprocessor before engagement, bind them by written data protection terms, and review their security and privacy practices. A current list of subprocessors is available on request, and we provide advance notice of material changes.

Security measures

We require subprocessors to implement technical and organizational measures consistent with the controls described on our Security page, appropriate to the sensitivity of the data they handle.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred across jurisdictions, we implement appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or an equivalent mechanism.
